| Well simply it is a
Dragon Ball Z Text Based Roleplaying Game.... It is actually rather simple..lemme tell you in steps. 1) We have different characters with their different moves and characteristics (IE Piccolo is a Namek and can use his Special Beam attack plus others..) 2) We fight to gain Battle Power and Training Points (Both explained below) 3) We fight and train in a IRC chatroom called #Piccolosdomain 4)Unlike other DBZ-RPG's we do not have many Gods or immortals. Only God we have now is me, Kame...look at rule 5.. 5)Gods may not fight mortals to boost their Battle Power or the mortals.. (IE When I fight I use Piccolo so people have a chance to beat me) 6) We use a BOT in IRC in order to fight. Now I didn;t create this one but it is WAY better then the last. Every BP (Battle Power) has HP (Heath Points) Then when you fight in the IRC room the BOT will obey your commands and attack the other person. Now the bot is programed to miss sometimes...so don't get upset if you miss an attack..(remember the better the attack the more likly you will miss) NOW! ON TO THE TP AND BP! (Training Points and Battle Power) Its rather simple read on... BP (Battle Points) -measure your Power Level. Remember the cartoon when Goku had a Power Level of 8,000? Well in this RPG we would say you have 8,000 bp so its kinda the same thing..BP is everything in this game..it determines how strong you are and what special stuff you may use..So if you are fighting someone with a BP of 3,000 and you have 100,000...you shouldn't even break a sweat BUT!! If you are fighting someone with about the same BP it gets harder..usually I will judge a match like that or another OP will. Some words to the wise.. 1)The higher the level you are, the more likely it is for you to land and attack 2)if all you need to beat a person is 300 HP and your trying to pull off a 10,000 HP move..DON'T! Just use the light Ki attacks that give you 1:4 odds your going to hit the other person and just pound on them with that.
NEW BP SYSTEM!!! Bp
is not the determining factor with the new bot. But your POWER LEVEL
(or just lvl) is. The higher the level you are the more likely the
chances of you landing an attack are. Also the higher level
you are, the more you can use Kaioken or transform (explained later) I
still consider BP, but i dont keep record of it. so read on
and keep an open mind cuz some things are different CONVERSION FROM BP to LVL.. Well I will usually use my
judgement.. but a fair est. would be you gain a lvl when your earned BP
exceeds your current BP.. so if your lvl 20 and have a BP/HP of 2000 and
your fighting a lvl 1 guy with a BP/HP of 100.. you gotta kill him 20
times to gain 1 level..
Ok..now for the Kaiokens and transformations. They are a little different then before. Transformations are not like form changes. All they do is increase your HP and KI. So in a way you do go to another energy form, but not physical. You can now also multi-form, or use a couple transforms in one fight. Now the rule is this... you can multiform every 20 levels. So if your lvl 82 you can transfrom to lvl 20 then 40 then 60 then 80, then you got max to lvl 82. Also when you reach a multiply of 20, you get the option to change PHYSICAL FORMS!! (ask me about it when you join..if you find it confusing I will do it for you..) Now Kaioken...kaioken makes the damage you do greater. UNLIKE transform... Kaioken is not accumalitive.. so if you try to be cute and go kaioken 20 then kaioken 60... its not like a Kaioken 80..so save time and just go right to 60..Now both transform and Kaioken can be used up to as many times as your level .. so in english say if your level 26, you can use Kaioken 26 and Transform 26.. This doesn't apply to lvl 1 though hehe THE SPIRIT REALM Ok... this section explains about dying. When we spar you don't "die" you get disabled. Now.. if we are fighting in a Saga or if you are fighting Ultimate or Unknown SoldieR, you die.. well you die. What dying is all about is that you can NOT particapate in any sagas or spar against any living players.. but believe it or not, dying is pretty cool!! What it does is allow you to fight in an enviroment with 10x gravity, and it allows you the chance to train with King Kai. Now lets say Piccolo dies.. and then five minutes later someone kills Guldo. Piccolo can fight Guldo because Guldo is dead as well (even though `Kame` can restore him into the living world if needed) Ok lets say Piccolo beats Guldo.. because they fought in a 10x gravity enviroment, Piccie is going to recieve alot of BP and go up a couple levels. As for training with King Kai... it can totally change your character.. see... King Kai is unique and the WEAKER you are.. the more you can gain from training with him. (Remember Goku in the series?) When you die you are allowed to stay in the spirit realm for as long as you like..but the minium is 3 days. Also I will be watching, so if I see anyone doing a suicide attack to go into the spirit realm, I probly will not allow you to train under King Kai, but if your character is REALLY sad.. I just might pretend I didn't see anything heheh |
